"Don't Paint It – Kote It!"
In the art world, and specialist construction designer field people overseas have been using a product known as Jesmonite, which is not available in South Africa. We are in the fortunate position to have access to brilliant technology to produce a superb alternative which we call Gypsunite.
Gypsunite is a special blend of mineral powders which forms a very hard solid product in about twenty minutes when mixed with water. But it also requires the second part to its mix, GypsiKote. This system creates a degree of strength and hardness that is unmatched. Mix with GypsiKote or GypsiKote ULTRA resins with the Gypsunite.
GypsiKote and Gypsunite are like two parts of a highly effective duo. They work hand in glove and create a symbiotic connection that makes the product more hardwearing and last longer.
Although both are not fully necessary to be used together it really does make all the difference to use the GypsiKote along with the Gypsunite powder for longer lasting end products.
If you're looking for a a great way to seal any of your products you should consider using our PondKote - a high gloss sealer
PondKote was especially formulated to be a clear sealer to protect surfaces that were outdoors and could potentially have constant water puddling on it.
In the case of application to your Gypsunite figure or cladding or object PondKote is not really necessary unless you are making items for the outdoors. It will help keep the product from degrading and make it much easier to keep clean.
