BoatKote
BoatKote is the supreme anti-fowling waterproofing medium developed for the boating industry.
The universality of this medium is without equal in South Africa at this current time as it has extensive applications that supercedes almost all other mediums available today.
We are fanatical about attention to detail and if you were to ask any chemist or paint technician about the need for a dry film acticide in coastal regions they will tell you it is essential, yet search as you may, you will not find coatings with the acticide additive for dry film protection. BoatKote includes this vital ingredient which halts the growth of mildew and algae.
WHAT IS THE SPREADRATE?
1 litre will give you 8 - 10 square metres depending on how absorbent the surface is.
*This is if you're applying only 1 coat. This product requires you apply 3 coats to be fully effective.
BoatKote acts as a protective coating shielding the walls of your boat from UV degradation as well as waterproofing of the substrate, maintaining the aesthetics fully since the coating is completely transparent.
We developed this product to solve the fouling issue, the drag and ocean algae problem that many fishermen and boat owners have.
This product will help to stop the continious up keep that all boat owners have to deal with and the cleaning is made easier as the algae won't have an surface to grip onto.
You can paint BoatKote onto any surface of your ship. It will help to protect it from the elements as well as keep your boat looking aesthetically pleasing.
However, we would recommend that you use our GripKote to paint onto your deck areas for a non-slip coating but will also protect the deck just like BoatKote does for the hull of your boat.
Our BoatKote comes in a Clear, White or Pastel Shades of paint.
It's easy to paint on or for a sleek look, you can use an airbrush to apply it.
